If Fugitives, title of the first monographic album of Muhiddin Dürrüoğlu, evokes the ephemera and the passage of time, the music of this composer is anchored in his time and his compositions unfold the timeline of an atypical, sensual and endearing musician, who is celebrating its 50th birthday this year.

This record witnesses the collaboration of Muhiddin Dürrüoğlu with the Kheops ensemble since its creation in 2006. The ability of the musicians of this ensemble (which varies in size) to play in different line-ups rests on exceptional talents.

Fugitives is the first stage of an adventure of the Kheops ensemble with Cypres: it begins in the contemporaneity of Muhiddin Dürrüoğlu and will continue backwards in a set of Brahms trios and in the program Ritual dances, anthology of French chamber music with harp.

Here are fugitive emotions in the making.
